the clouds beg the rain to
fall.
but the sun just burns their will away.
a scream in a vacuum can't be heard
and you're always being pulled
to the end.
a drop of blood diffuses in the ocean
but even a shark can sense your
presence.
(so why can't you?)
the world spins regardless of you being in it.
the clouds roll by and lightning strikes even if
you're not around to see it.
you watch mindless cars streak across
cracked roads and wonder what it must be like.
what it's like to exist without a noose hanging
around your neck.
what it's like to not be terrified of the
fall.
