I write here what I please and act like someone cares.

Ah, the summer is finally here. Tad bit too warm for my liking and it's only going to get worse from here...
The work was extended for another month, so May is covered. Canadian colleague is going to visit our office for a week and a half.
We're going to work during the weekend too to implement some changes in our network, not super excited about that...

My brother sold his 50" LG Smart TV to my mom. I hooked it up to the internet and taught her to use Netflix. Showed the first episode of Breaking Bad to her. She really enjoyed the first two episodes and she's been watching the series pretty much daily.
I've succeeded in getting yet another person hooked.

Myself, I've been loving the new season of Game of Thrones. I've been waking up every monday morning at 5 AM to sounds of "The Rains of Castamere" to watch the newest episode before going to work where I'll then enjoy my morning coffee from my Lannister mug.
Also started watching anime called Watamote / No Matter How I Look at It, It’s You Guys' Fault I’m Not Popular!
It's a hilarious anime about a shut in high school girl trying to become popular. I've gotten hooked to the intro song.

I went to see The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in theaters with a friend. I thought it was really quite good. I didn't really like the the first movie in the new reboot series that much, so it was pretty surprising. Next week I'll be going to watch new Godzilla and week after that the X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Also went grilling with couple of friends and their families last weekend. It's been quite some time since I just hanged out with someone.

Purchase wise this hasn't been extremely busy month.

Like I already spoiled in last entry, I got the Steins;Gate Limited Edition. Haven't played it. Mainly bought it just to support the release since I remember loving the anime adaptation so much. Also got a really cool Pacific Rim poster. I'm a huge fan of Yoji Shinkawa's artwork so couldn't resist.

Aaaand then some more artbooks.

Fire Emblem Awakening Kakusei Model Sheets Knights of Iris is an artbook that I've been looking at for quite some time.
I love the art that went into the game and the game is really good as well. Started the game again while ago so couldn't resist it any longer.
Neon Genesis Evangelion Newtype 100% Collection I bought because... Well, it's Neon Genesis Evangelion for God's sake.
I've been wanting to get an artbook for it for quite some time, this was the best I could find. It's bit thin, but still really good.
I also ordered Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Material Art Works, though won't get that in another week or so.

The big purchase of this month is Wacom Intuos Professional Large graphics tablet.

Haven't gotten around drawing a lot with it yet. I have couple work in progress pictures, but haven't finished anything.
Here's Levi from Attack on Titan and Meryl from Metal Gear Solid drawn using the tablet.

Games I haven't bought anything else besides Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag for Wii U for 10 euros.
Played a bit of it. Seems pretty fun. Mostly I've been playing Fire Emblem Awakening and Dark Souls II this month.

And here's the picture of my nerd wall. I got a new small shelve for games and top of it is a great place for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance plasma lamp.

Update: May 12th, 2014

My weekend work started at 12 PM on Saturday and ended 1:30 AM on Sunday.
Me and my co-worker hadn't eaten anything all day, so afterwards we started hunting for food.
We found a pizza place that was open until 4 AM and there we met some random drunk who had overheard us talking in English and wanted to join us for some discussion. He was talking to us for like half an hour about his artist life and career cleaning up slaughterhouse.

On Friday I got Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collection. 11 Discs of soundtracks (SF, SSF2T, SFA3, SF 3rd Strike, SSF4AE, SFxT, Fan Remixes & Fan Originals), 2 blu-rays including documentary, animated series, SF2 animated movie, SF4 animated movie and SF4 Juri OVA. Ryu statue that has some lights powered by batteries (instead of AC adapter, thank God), replica of Ryu's black belt and fan art tribute book. It also came with SSF4 Arcade Edition, SFxTekken, all the dlc for those games as well as downloadable SSF2THDR and 3rd Strike. Surprisingly the game discs and downloadable content works on European systems as well.

Update: May 18th, 2014

Finally went back to Drangleic to get rid of some unfinished Dark Souls 2 business and beat it.
I've found Dark Souls 2 quite disappointing. I'd rather play it than many other games for sure, but by comparison to first game, it's just not very impressive.

Finally got around ordering artbook for Metal Gear Solid 4. I've wanted it for a long time, but it's quite rare and expensive book.

Update: June 3rd, 2014

My old messenger bag was breaking down, so I needed to get a new one. I wanted to get a Mass Effect bag from Bioware store, but it was overpriced and it had sold out when I finally decided that I have to get a new bag. After a quick search, I found Studio Ghibli bag that I really liked. It's a lot smaller than I expected, but not too small. Also bought Clementine's hat from Telltale's The Walking Dead, though I'm only using it as a decoration.

Also got LG G2 android phone with unlimited data, call and text plan.
