1) You know... I never really considered myself to be real gossip material. Not that I'm particularly unpopular or a loner or anything. Just, I never really saw myself as doing anything particularly gossip worthy. However, I underestimated the information network of my little home town of 680 people... and my little school of... oh.. I don't know anymore. Less than 300, anyway. I told a kinda-sorta friend of mine that I'd broken up with my old boyfriend and had a new one (yet again long distance)... and oh, how the news has spread. Just today a dude I barely even talk to was like,"So you've got a new boyfriend, huh? You sure go through them." (not that he or anyone else in my school has the right to talk about going through boyfriends or girlfriends... especially to me)... it was kind of a shock. I was amused and amazed. For the record, I don't "go through them" I was with the old boyfriend nearly a year and, to be quite honest, I don't think anyone would have lasted much longer than I did. That being said, he makes a good friend.

2) Despite my constant moans of "I want normal friends" I have come to the conclusion that I am extremely blessed to have such a diverse group to talk to. Not so much racially, but in personality and even physical build. Everyone from tiny, cute Lemon to six foot, Mexican Luis. And everything in between too. And the personalities.... god, you've never seen such a small number of people with such a large range of personalities. I promise you, you haven't. Selfish, generous, philosophical, simple, introverted, extroverted, narcissistic, insecure, jealous, smug, happy, not so happy, worrier, let-it-go-er, hyper, lazy, casual, elegant, cool, spastic, zippy, thoughtful, impulsive.... more than a rainbow. It's really impressive.

3) My boyfriend is visiting for the last week of winter break (barring winter weather issues). I'm really looking forward to it. It should be interesting... not least because this will be our second time meeting in real life and our first time meeting as boyfriend and girlfriend, but also because our personalities are a little different from what one envisions in the average couple. Neither of us is particularly used to physical contact, for one. For another.... it's just a weird situation. You know?

4) Did you know that pizzly bears actually exist? They're grizzly and polar bear hybrids (like me!). They are found both in the wild and bread in captivity.

5) I really want to make a fried apple burrito... with sugar and cinnamon.
