Woot! It's Wednesday the middle of the week! whee The weekend is almost here! Not that I expect much from it. Somehow, it won't be all that exciting. It'll be one of those hum-drums I suspect. Meh.
The quest is going okay. I collect 1K today. I did some browsing for Jan 2004 letters. Everyone's hot to sell 2005 letters. Meh. That's not what I want.
I saw a bid for a January 2004 letter at 44000 gold this morning. If it had continued on, there would be an hour left as of right now to still bid on it. It's gone. The buy price was for 52,000 gold. Other letters were cheaper than that and they are still up for grabs. Me thinks the owner cancelled the sale because no one was bidding. Could it be that 44K is too much for the January 2004 letter just yet?
The cheapest going January 2004 letter is 47,999. neutral That's not much of a deal in my eyes, although scouring up a letter in the Exchange is a challenge and when one is found, it's going for much higher than in the Marketplace. This bites, because by the time I earn enough gold, I could be looking at a 60K price tag. eek
That disgusts me and it's causing me to rethink my idea of questing for a January 2004 letter. Is it really worth 60K? Right now, an Emo Bag goes for 45K, while a chain wallet goes for 48K less than 1 gold and yes, I'm ignoring the idiot who's trying to over-flate the price. (I saw one try that for one of the scarves. Everyone was will to sell less than 160K and this one was going for 980K, which was reported as the going price by a new person to the Guild. stare Like as if I'm that out of touch with the price of items.) In comparison to the letter, those aren't too bad for prices. The chain wallet is a tad scary, but I'm not fond of it, so no loss there. ^^
Anyway, time for bed. I'll do some more planning and scouting tomorrow.
