Woo-hoo! The 25th is here! New items. New accessories. Somewhat predictable with the Demonic Pendant, but nice anyway. I'm not so sure about the Angelic Bracelet. I can make out some of the features and the glow is good, however...it doesn't stand out from the avatar. neutral Without the glow, a quick glance would make one think it was the gold bracelet. A shame.
Double shame on those who are trying to sell them for 6-7K. xp Well, not entirely as I can understand people trying to work up hype to sell their items/letters before the crash. It will come. I don't think the Demonic Pendant will drop too much. It'll be the preferred item. Kind of reminds me of the Fuzzy Penguin/Baby Seal Slippers when they came out. And now look where they are. Mind you, it's a bit concerning when someone tries to sell 100 January 2005 letters. surprised That really makes me step back from the small screen. xp
Speaking of stepping back, I see the Letter for January 2005 is doing no such thing! xp People are certainly trying to horde it up there. I'd like to catch one in the mid 40K, if possible. I'm dubious that this will happen. sad People are very much insisting it be for 50K.
Hmm. What to say in the limited time that I have. There are lots of odds and ends that have been running around in my mind, that I'd like to get out. They would have come out sooner if I was not so preoccupied with my image as a Gaian. Meh. That was a really strange period, and I had another one a couple of days ago, but a bit different. Instead of being 'disgrutled' at other questers, I found myself disgruntled about my own quest. It's cool that I'm making 500 gold, but with how people are jacking up prices (more so if you check out the scarves and sash!) just to jack them up, whether they should go up or not, is scary.
Once I obtain the January, March, and June 2004 letters along with the slippers, pendant, and Emo Bag, I don't fancy questing after anything that's over 50K. I don't have the patience for it and I certainly don't feel brave enough. It's not like those things would make me happy anyway. And should I be hacked, I'd be absolutely floored about losing a 100K+ item. I couldn't stand to go through that. Kudos to CNS for going after the OMG Hat (no hacking involved!), because she's braver than me. 3nodding
I should see if I can round my 500 gold from this morning to 1K for today. I'm off by about 100 gold. 120 to be exact. ninja I don't suppose this post will bring me up, will it? Hmm.
