I've almost finished the set-up of my new quest! whee Yesterday I worked on cleaning up the posts and today I did some banners. I thought I had them all done, but I've noticed I'll need one or two and a placard of some sort that I can use for in my signature. =3 Right now, the placard is causing me grief. I have several ideas of what I want, but none really stands out and so there's a conflict of interest going on. xd I'd like the placard to have a meter of some sort in it, but of what, I'm not sure.
For the first time (I believe it's the first time) I've set up a poll in my quest thread. =3 I've heard of how finicky they are, but I've changed the post a couple of times and the poll is still there without any changes. I guess I haven't achieved the right conditions for poll disaster yet.
My first quest is 4,000 gold. I'm almost at 1,500. With only three days left of the year (including today), I'm certain I won't earn the remaining 2,500 gold. Still, I'll give it a try. The sooner I finish this one, the sooner I can begin the next one. smile

</center>After my Brown Paper Bag Quest, I went on and did a handful or so of mini-quests. My first two were for Hallowe'en: Ghosty and Skeleton. After Hallowe'en was over, I went after the outfits for Elf, Reindeer, Santa, the Gift, and Snowman. I even managed to add to my Santa outfit the Jolly Slippers and Hat! Now how cool is that for a girl who wasn't around for the first Gaian christmas? Pretty good I think.
During my mini-quests, I also worked up equal amounts of gold that I would donate to those who I thought deserved a little help. I matched each item with an equal donation amount and I collected 11,644 gold! Woot! A very impressive amount, if I do say so myself. However, it wasn't enough to help Zyfusion finish her quest and that I wanted to do badly.
Christmas was drawing near (as was New Year's which stood out a lot more, although Christmas still had that special twinkle that New Year's could simply not beat) and she was a long way off from obtaining her chain wallet. I called on a couple of friends, cashed in a couple of favour tokens and helped Zyfusion achieve her dream. Seeing her with her much sought after chain wallet was wonderful! She deserved it and I'm forever grateful to my friends for helping me help her out.
They even helped me, although they didn't know it until after Christmas. whee With a bit of saving, I used the extra money given to me to buy my Jolly Hat. And then when I had a bit more, I bought a Reindeer Mask (the one in the store). Those two items completed my mini-quests, even if I was using borrowed money.
And now it is time to repay the kindness and show my thanks and appreciation for all that has been done for me!
Isn't that nice? I think so. Actually, I haven't been able to come up with something better. It eludes me, so I'm sticking with this. =3 I intend to have a different reason for my quests. Some of them will be presents for others...and some will be presents for me! mrgreen
I'm not sure on the order and I'm not sure which one I'll tackle first after I complete the 4,000 gold quest. That's to be decided as I make my placard. A line break of some kind would be nice too. 3nodding
