Unlike a roleplay concept, these are just vague set-ups that could be any thing from a story to a roleplay. Mostly based from vague pieces recalled from recent dreams. Mostly posting this as Gaia seems to be the safest cubby for things no one is likely to read.
Concept #1
Premise: A group of six strangers find themselves forced to live together on an unfamiliar island. Their only link is vague memories of a facility for "troubled" children and scars on their bodies, which when combined form a pentagon with the top split pie cut style. Now they must not only learn to live together in a semblance of harmony, but find the truth behind the odd scars and their shared past in order to avoid a coming disaster that threatens not only them, but the entire island they now call home.
If it were a roleplay: Most likely be a small group project. Public variant would pend on lack of willing members. Preferred age range for the main group would be early to mid twenties(20 - 27 at the oldest; even though 27 probably counts under late 20's). If public, options for others outside the main group would be open. NPCs would be used for flashback related characters/ filling roles players haven't.
If it were a story: Chapters would be short and perspective would shift each chapter to one of the main group, with who denoted at the start of each respective chapter. Formatting may changed based on character as well, though would be tricky to use and pull off effectively ( hence less likely of the two options)
