But to happy news. A ton of purchases again. A ton. Here's the Wii U and PS4 games.
Far Cry 4 was great. People say that it feels a lot like Far Cry 3, and that's true, but that's nothing but a good thing. Storywise I wish there would've been more. I didn't feel like I got to know any of the characters as well as I did in FC3.
Super Smash Bros for Wii U Not much to say, it's Smash. And a good one at that too. Haven't played a lot of it yet, haven't even tried all characters. So far I've liked Lucina, Greninja and Ganondorf most.
Dragon Age Inquisition Sadly I'm not feeling DA:I, though it's because I've exhausted myself in the beginning. I've recreated my character so many times and played through the tutorial or some first quests in Hinterlands over and over.
Killzone: Shadow Fall and Alien: Isolation I haven't tried yet. Don't want to move onto next game yet.
Waiting for Watch_Dogs which I ordered from UK.
I also ended up getting handful of Amiibos. I was really excited for them, but when the news and pictures of lower quality figurines came up, I got really upset about it and was doubting if I would get any of them. I ended up ordering Samus, Pikachu and Fox which were my favorites of the first wave to see what they were like in person since we don't have a local store that has them. Got a chance to visit Gamestop, where I picked up Mario. Marth and Peach I ordered from a store that I pre-ordered Pit and Zelda from. The quality is still bit of a bummer and I've dropped any intention to seriously collect them, but they were a lot smaller than I expected making few flaws here and there more excusable. Overall won't hesitate ordering more for characters I like.
A big purchase of the month is Playstation Vita. Already have quite a few games for it too.
Danganronpa 2 Is what I've spent most time on, almost 10 hours already. Just finished the first trial. I can say that I'm enjoying it and look forward to next play session. System came with "Adventure Mega Pack" which includes Tearaway, Uncharted and Gravity Rush which were already on list of games I wanted to get and Escape Plan and TxK which weren't under my radar and I'm not sure if I'm going to get around playing them.
I also purchased Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus with my Vita because I laughed when I read "Let's Get Physical Edition" and couldn't resist. Only played a bit of tutorial. It was pretty decent from the bit I played, I'm interested in returning to it, but it's not my number one priority. The soundtrack impressed me with 39 tracks (OH MY GOD! A PROPER OST IN COLLECTOR'S EDITION!? Take a note major publishers.) And it's actually really good. Packaging also cracks me up. Front is the cast clothes, back is them on their underwear and inside is them topless... Who is it that gets paid for thinking this stuff? Give that guy a medal.

Freedom Wars I played a bit of tutorial. Seems pretty good and interesting. I like the character designs.

Metal Gear Solid HD Of course, because I can't have a system without Metal Gear Solid. Just can't. It's impossible.
This time I'm gonna do it! This time I'm gonna finish Snake Eater. Shame there's no way of transfering my save file from 360 like would be possible with PS3 version.

Muramasa Rebirth was one of the couple games I really wanted the system for. I love Japanese folklore, so the DLC especially looked really interesting to me. This game caused some headache for me already. The DLC pack is listed as a game on PSN and after asking Sony on twitter about it they said it was standalone. It wasn't. So I had to wait for my copy to arrive, but what I got from UK seller was US import of the game, so the DLC I had purchased wasn't compatible with it. I returned the game to Amazon and after not finding European boxed copy, I had to go and buy it digitally.

The number one reason why I bought Vita though was Persona 4 Golden. I've ordered it, but still waiting. Should've come on Wednesday... Accidentally ordered two copies, probably will try to return the other. Also waiting for Deception IV: Blood Ties and 64GB Vita Memory Card (It's so annoying that Sony went with their own unique memory card again despite a lot of people complaining about it back on PSP. I got PSP back in the day from my brother, but sold it only because I simply couldn't be bothered with getting memory stick duo...)

I knew that PS1 games were available on Vita, but it was a happy surprise that games you have on PS3 don't require rebuying (Take a note Nintendo). Installed Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Final Fantasy VII and Tomba!. What is annoying is that using other region accounts isn't as simple. Half of my classics were purchased with American account and they're unavailable for me on Vita without jumping through thousands loops. Also kind of forgot that you can download PSP games. I purchased Dissidia 012: Duodecim Final Fantasy since I never got a chance to play it. Tutorial was fun, but in actual game the AI is just mopping the floor with me faster than I can learn playing it... Wish they would put Crisis Core to PSN. So yeah, a lot of money spent on Vita.
Also got some anime. Kill la Kill has interested me for a long time, been even somewhat obsessed with it. I really love the artwork and designs, but only watched couple episodes. Held myself back because blu-ray set was announced. Finally I can continue. It also came with nice artbook with storyboards and groundworks.
While I was at it, also decided to get Space Dandy. I've been quite interested in this as well and after couple episodes I can say I'm really liking it. Another really nice artbook. I'm really liking Anime Limited's boxsets even though they are really expensive. Kill la Kill was from them too as well as Gurren Lagann from last journal entry and Cowboy Bebops from way back.

Now I'm really sad that I didn't attend to MCM Comic Con Glasgow like I was planning earlier this year. It would've been my first convention and first time travelling outside of Finland. But friend I was meant to go with had to cancel...
They would've had director of Space Dandy and a Meow mascot that you could've had picture taken with. I would've liked that... *sigh*
Also got random Japanese junk package. biggrin
I'm shocked, the Sailor Moon Grilled Pork tortilla chips didn't taste like a**. First Japanese chips that I was able to eat.
The E-Tank energy drinks weren't good. They were super flat and bland tasting. Didn't finish even the one can in case it's expired since I have no idea how old it could be. Really like the design, so mostly got them for display anyway.

My work will continue again in January 7th at least for 2 months.
It was a great month, I'll miss not working. But at the same time I'm somewhat glad.
Anyway, watched the first season of Space Dandy which turned out to be the best thing ever, baby.
I found a place to watch the second season with the dub, so that will be my plan for next couple of days.
I received couple more Amiibos soon after the original journal entry.
Pit is really good quality. Princess Zelda isn't great, but not bad either.
Here's few new games. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire were Christmas gifts.
The rest I've gotten from sales. Played a bit of Watch_Dogs today, not enough to form an opinion on. I'm not turned off by it so far. Also got Mercenary Kings and Valiant Hearts for PS4 from the PSN January sales.
Got 64 GB memory card for PS Vita, been working to fill it up.
Weirdly enough my copies of Persona 4 Golden still hasn't arrived even though they were supposed to come before Christmas.

I was watching playthrough of Telltale Games's Tales from the Borderlands and in moment of weakness ordered Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Also decided to get Grand Theft Auto V again. It was about time to replay it.
Devil May Cry HD Collection was just couple of euros from clearance sale. Dragon's Crown was also on sale so figured I'd get it again since I didn't get around playing it on PS3. Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed is your regular undress-the-vampires beat 'em up in minimized Akihabara with 130 real world shops.
