OctoCamo's Diary
I write here what I please and act like someone cares.
The guy I was covering for returned to work, but he left again so my contract was continued, but he returned again so no idea about Decemeber.

Been spending quite a bit of money on useful things lately.
Bought myself winter shoes which cost more than any of my previous shoes.
And also got my eyesight checked and ordered two new pairs of glasses and sunglasses.

Since last entry, I read a bunch of more Guardians of the Galaxy comics. They've released few more issues since the last time I read it. I also picked up the artbook. Really nice one, certainly a must have for any fan. Also ended up buying one of the Lego sets to get Star-Lord figurine. You could say I went through bit of an obsession with the series, but now it's calming down. Well, at least until Blu-Ray comes out. Then it will probably start all over again.

I picked up Attack on Titan Colossal Edition and Attack on Titan: No Regrets Vol. 1
I enjoyed the show, but wouldn't have called myself a fan until now. Now I'm hooked.
After I ran of Colossal Edition to read, I continued it online with scanslations and now I've read up to the latest chapter and waiting for monthly releases is killing me. No Regrets is pretty nice too, though by far the best thing about it is the art work. The artist of main series is just, eeeeeh~, but really like the artist on Levi spin-off.

The blu-ray boxset of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann that I pre-ordered in beginning of the year was finally released. Really nice collection. My first copy had a dent on it, which was quite a bummer. Amazon offered a replacement for it.
Next I'll be looking forward to Kill la Kill Blu-Ray limited editions, first coming out in December.

Also got Breaking Bad on Blu-Ray. I had a friend staying over for a weekend and I tried to get him into the show. He said it was pretty good, but it was pretty obvious that he couldn't care less. But rewatching the first three episodes reminded me how magical this show is. Also tried to get him into Game of Thrones, but after first couple episodes he wanted to play Mario...

Also while Iwata was away, Nintendo had quite WiiUtiful time. I was looking forward to Hyrule Warriors more than any other game before, but a long time of hype and embargo being lifted super early caused my excitement to burn out before it finally came out. I'm still looking forward to playing it, but I'm not in hurry with it... Also finally got my Bayonetta 1 and 2. Really want to play the Bayonetta 2 after seeing Miracle of Sound's "Messing With The Best" Bayonetta 2 Song. But since I never finished first Bayonetta on 360, I guess I have to go back and do my homework by beating it first.

Wii U isn't the only system I've gotten games for though, bought few games for PS4 from the Playstation Network too.

I really liked InFamous: Second Son, so I ended up getting First Light too. It was surprisingly good. I was little worried that Neon power would give you the "been there, done that" feel, but playing as Fetch still felt pretty fresh.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Destiny I got mostly because of the hype. I had been avoiding anything related to this game before launch, so I knew very little of it besides the genre. I had quite a bit of fun with it, but it didn't hold my attention to the end.

The Legend of Korra was a game that I was quite looking forward to since it was from the Platinum Games. It's announcement is the reason why I looked into the series and now I'm quite a fan. I thought game was pretty good. Reminds me quite a bit of Metal Gear Rising, which I thought was a fantastic game, so that's only a good thing. Got pretty near to getting my first Platinum too. How fitting would it be if my first was from Platinum game?

I also bought Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas re-release for Xbox 360 from Live. Playing it for the first time without cheats. It used to be my favorite game for quite a while when it came out ten years ago, but now it's in shadow of Grand Theft Auto V. (Which I can't wait to rebuy for PS4)

Also official Windows drivers for Xbox One controllers came out, so I bought myself a new PC controller. It's really nice.

Also press Shia LeBeouf for the best video I've seen on Youtube in quite a while.
