She has been the rising sun to me,
Lighting up each morning with her light,
Reminding me with a soft glow,
That life still has a few surprises for me.
An incredible soul capable of unconditional love,
What have i done to deserve such fortune?
I've spent countless hours simply spent wondering,
What sparked this incredible thing in my life.
She's a shy, hesitant heart,
The kind you're afraid to break,
Held properly she's strong and uplifting,
She inspires me utterly with three spoken words.
The kind of love that sustains a man,
Through any horrors that are thrown your way,
The kind of love that fuels my blood,
And somehow always leaves me wanting more.
I could write miles on the things she does,
Smile and tell you everything that makes me love her.
But instead i'll say i've never been happier in my life,
Happier than when she said "i'll be yours forever".
