Where I got the info that lead me to this conclusion(reliable source, really)
The actual scientific information is in the video, but I'll recap anyway.
Tears let out during emotional times have increased levels of a hormone called Prolactin plus traces of some metals found in bullets. Hence, crying is your brain emptying it's emotional-hormonal gun onto your face. It's good for you.
Okay. People get depressed. Men and women alike (but mostly men) have problems with crying or showing similar "weakness" at all. This causes emotional conflict, both internal and external, and causes the bottled up emotional explosion effect. Which leads to bad, bad, bad, bad, bad things.
So. Grow some balls and cry a bit more. And learn to talk about how you feel. Trust me, it takes more "balls" to talk about how you feel than to bottle it up. And if you actually learn how to talk about such things, I promise you, women and most decent friends will like you better or at least patiently listen ~ like you better for not blowing up or doing emotional stuff that hurts them without explanation. And if they don't, it's because they suck and you don't need to be friends with them anyway.
Of course, there should also be limits on exactly how much crying is done ~ crying through a whole day every day is too much. And you should see a doctor. And a psychologist. And your local crack and marijuana dealer.
