Yes, no matter how good a parent is, they have made mistakes. I've made quite a few. Of course, I'm not going to discuss anything criminal about myself or any of my loved ones, and I'd like to think we've never done anything criminal. At least, to my knowledge, I'll be telling the truth.
I think one of my biggest mistakes was to get married how and why I did. I had just lost a lot of weight, had some surgery done, was in my 3rd year of law school, and had just had my application for the FBI approved, but on hold. On Friday I met my husband. The next weekend we chatted a bit. Then we had a church meeting together, and a church dance. The next thing you know, we asked my parents how they'd feel about us getting married. They reacted horribly. I was so angry that no matter what we had thought, considered, and maybe planned, I decided we had to get married right away. My husband wanted to be married for reasons of his own. I don't know what they are. We were married exactly 63 days from the night we met. That was one week to the day after my law school graduation. If I learned anything, it is not to marry out of spite. Ten months later we had our first son. I was glad it was a full 10 months because it put to rest all the questions about our getting married because I was pregnant. We hadn't had sex
