The test bed for our company has been running the OS 10.3.9 update for days now with not a bit of trouble. I'll be updating the rest of the XServe blades Friday.
This waiting for new hardware is beginning to wear on my nerves. Like my friend Floyd, I'm in the market to replace my older sub-GHz G4 towers. Despite two of them being dual processor models, it's past time to get at least one G5 tower and sell off a G4 while there is still a market for them.
I'm going to see what the difference between the current middle dual 2GHz tower vs. what the next gen dual 2.3GHz tower are. I may just do what Floyd suggested and buy a new in the box end-of-life 2GHz model if they're cheap enough.
