Fate.
Sarcasm.
Oh yes world, fool around. Show us your infinite ways.
Your winds of change. Your streaks of joy.
Your streaks of sadness even.
Your impossible outcomes, which no one can predict.
But don’t give us shame.
Don’t blame us for the fault.
Show us some compassion. Show us some happiness.
A sweet piece of love that shines so bright.
Give us hope. Give us grace.
Show us beauty.
Show us, we ask.
Are we not to enjoy our stay?
Are we not to do everything we dream of doing?
Tell us then, we beg, what shall we do?
Let us know that the world is wonderful.
Let us remember the good days.
Let us! We demand.
Don’t sit and chuckle at our faults.
Remember when you grew green and beautiful.
Remember when all was good.
Remember when we didn’t have to worry.
Remember, we plead.
