The rain trickles lightly over every building, car, street, and living creature. for today every living being is outside. not just for the reason that there is rain, but for the fact that this is the first time it's rained in the past three years. there was no use for rivers, lakes, or the oceans anoymore since the new water manufacturing machine came into town. of course they didn't really make water. it was more like a clear gloppy liquid that you could say didn't have a taste, but everyone could tell the difference between it and water even after three years.
The sun is making its way down as night falls into place. of course you couldn't tell by they way it looked outside, for the sky was already dark enough to be two hours into the night.
Children are dancing in the street, elderly adults laugh and talk amongst themselves, and new found lovers kiss lightly. the rain brings happiness to everyone.
And the rain continues to pour. every drop is like a note in a beautiful smphony. the drops on metal rooftops creates such music that is heard beyond many miles. then the thunder roars, like drums it sounds through the sky and awakens any souls not alive with excitment.
Many more people have come out into the rain. everyone's laughing and dancing in merryment. children play games like street hockey and hide and seek. mother's talk on pourch ledges, while fathers enjoy a drink on a backyard deck.
A siren sounds. a baby cries. mother's run for their young. giant trucks drive through the streets. the men are coming. they dont like the people to come out of their houses. they must be punished. a boy screams. a father gets hurt defending his young. many people are taken away in the giant trucks.
then it's quiet. the streets are empty. no children are laughing now. no one is laughing or dancing any more. it is completely silent.
the rain is stoping.
the clouds are gone.
now it's dark and every star is out.
except you cant see them.
you cant see anything.
