Hands placed defencively
She stands offencively
trying to keep the other
away from her lover
Fighting for love
they scrap like cats
trapped in a sack,
when the alleyway is empty
Knives now out
they strike like snakes
leaving small gashes where ever
the other doesnt defend
Blood dripping from the ends
of both curved blades
The boy comes later
seeing both girls fighting
he drops to his knees
surprized and not expecting
their snake-bite love
their willingness to fight
for his love
To kill another
for his face, voice, style
and his snake-bite ring through
his perfect lips
And later now
The girls are friends
the boy left by both of them
he would find another
that the two disapproved of
and so they decided against another
snake-like fight
to decide something just as worthless
as fighting itself
