She stands there
waiting for him
little does she know
he told her the one thing
that would tie them together
her cell phone rings
the police man tells her
his last request
at the scene
she crys on his shoulder
his blood on the ground
The cars mangled beyond
what is identifiable
the other guy
escaped without harm
the boy would bleed out
before the paramedics arrive
Later now,
She cries alone
wishing he was there
she took her favourite
keychain
and poked herself in the arm,
just hard enough to draw blood
she whispered to the open window
'I bleed for you,
I bleed for your memory
I bleed for you my love...'
She lives on in his memory
thinking daily of him
taking up a new religion
to keep from loosing hope
and so she would
but never again
would she wait
for her friends to drive
up to her place for anything
she would go to them...
waiting for him
little does she know
he told her the one thing
that would tie them together
her cell phone rings
the police man tells her
his last request
at the scene
she crys on his shoulder
his blood on the ground
