January 2004 Letters are supposedly going for anywhere from 64K to 80K. surprised A couple of weeks ago, sellers were hard pressed to find someone to buy their letter for 50K. And in mid-late December a friend of mine purchased one for 30K. surprised

Earlier today I saw a letter not go for 60K. Why would anyone think that a 64K would sell easier? Today wasn't the first time I've seen that happen. A Zombie G CORP Labcoat was available for bid at 35K and no one bid on it. I've seen those go down lately, unlike the January 2004 Letters.
For some strange, greedy reason, people figure that if they keep the prices high enough up, people will believe the letters are worth the prices. Well, they're not and I hope to see more letters expire because no one has gone after them. Those prices are artificial. I don't believe they really are worth that much. I believe people are trying to sock others for as much as they're worth.
I don't know how I'm going to make it through the Emo Bag Quest. That one is next and it doesn't look like I'll be starting it March 1st. I thought I would be done this quest in, what?, 13 days? No, 15 days. Now it looks like I need to tack on another 10 - 15K and perhaps another 5K on top of it, just so I can buy a January 2004 Letter. I'm going to shudder to think what the the cost of an Emo Bag will be.
It could be close to 80K, perhaps 90K, by the time I save up enough money. I know that if I don't quest for it right away, it'll only go up more, costing me more to buy it. I don't want to quest for an 80 - 90K item. Of course, that is only 80 to 90 days, which isn't too bad I suppose.
No, it only makes me want to kick myself harder for not taking more advantage of the poll gold glitch. After all those weeks of not being able to vote in polls or earn from posting, and I miss up on the opportunity to spend as many weeks as I lacked making up for it, and I grabbed it two months late. gonk How sad.
Aww, dang. Gaia has gone down. Again. Twice today. Meh.
I suppose that's one good thing of today. I managed to get up early enough to earn my gold before Gaia went down this morning. But now I see that it is down again. Again, I'm lucky to have gotten in my sponsors' links.
A pity about those January 2004 Letter prices. They're really making me think about whether I really want an Emo Bag or not, and I'm inclined to go with the not. sad
