Lost in what seemed real and fake
I stand alone,
facing the sea,
waiting for my one true friend
to return to my side
Long times have passed
he found me back then,
like I stood out
I didn't then, but,
he pulled me from the shell
that I had woven
To evade the world
I evaded reality, but,
In the end he helped me see
what the world could actually be
I fell from the sky I had woven
and he caught me as I fell
teaching me what the world
is, was and could be.
In the end, he left for a war
far away, overseas,
but now that war is all but finished
so now he returns to me
I will stand here,
untill that boat lands
with him aboard,
and with him that half of me
that wasnt really there
