Okay, I'm in Poll Central and I post/poll there regularly. They recently are trying to go through some changes and I got annoyed by all the unnecessary stickies they had on the front page. So I posted a poll about it and suggested ways to fix the problem.
I immediately received a reply by one of the mods that seemed to b***h me out about having heard about this problem for the twentieth time that day. I wanted to reply back, but had to leave, so I never got to vent. So now I am.
First thing. He didn't have to be rude about it. I had been polling for about an hour and saw no other topic on the subject. I don't know how he found 20 of the same polls/posts, if during an hour of off an on polling I only found number and pointless polls as usual. He was a mod, he should know courtesy or atleast be able to understand that the things he saw may not have been seen by everyone, including me.
Second, if he knows about the problem, why not fix it? He's a mod, he has the power to organize all the informative posts into one big post, like one of my suggestions. But no, he'd rather poll and gain money and b***h out other 'tenants' of the guild who are concerned and annoyed by the fact that nothing was being done.
That's about all I have to say. This really just comes down to that fact that he didn't have a right to b***h at me about posting something HE'D seen 20 times during the day and still had done nothing about it. Atleast the REAL Gaia mods have courtesy to do the little things that make the place better when the problem is brought to their attention. You know, instead of getting annoyed at people who bring it up.
Sorry if I'm not omniscient. It's a character flaw.
