Truly Cursed
We always think of life As a precious gift To be cherished and shared Not thrown into the abys
But life can be cruel Beyond what a human believes It can torture you to no end Beyond what another sees
We think life is unfair Like the girl with the happy smile Who always gives gave it her all Always lying all the while
She never hurt a soul Or muttered a complaint we thought she was happy we thought her a saint
No one knew her secret thoughts The doubts she carried inside her head Her fears, and hurts, Cuts and scraps We thought of her happy smile instead
It never crossed our minds That she would ever lie That she could hide from us the saddness in her eyes
We never stopped to think how she got to such a phase about how we must have hurt her in so many uncountable ways
She lied so we couldn't see The pain she felt inside There was no one around no one for her to confide
We took her for granted Not realising our fatal mistake We tried to save her soul - pure hearted Although it was a little to late
She went with fatal quickness The lie still on her face That warm and gentile smile was firmly set in place
