House of Frosted-Glass
As the rain falls I can hear her screams They wake me up at night Disturbing my dreams
Sometimes I can see her face through the frosted glass Her eyes are hollow and haunted As she chases memories of the past
Her eyes are red and puffy She was crying for sure But all that is covered by dark makeup, as if that is the cure
She's trapped inside a house The house made of two-sided glass She can see you looking in But you can't see her, bretahing her last
Her hopes are daily shattered As he comes home everyday The only one who prays for an accident On the 400 highway
Some notice her eyes And the way she seems like a ghost Hauntng the rich halls of her home Of which her husband can boast
She wears longing flowing dresses And perfume fit for a queen But where is that smile That used to light up the green
As she sang the anthum But she dosen;t do that anymore Locked up in the house sitting on the stony floor
You never know until its to late Until your already a prisoner You can never leave his frost covered jail For he is the nightmarish face of the grim reaper
