I got a pinklink tonight! Woot! Wow. That's been a while since that happened! It must be because I was thinking of ways to help -[J-Chan]- end her nakkie contest which has been going on for so long! eek It's the New Year. Let's end it. Now. whee
I'm checking with her to see if it's possible to end the contest. The three remaining people have stayed with it for so long and really, how much longer need they "tough it out?" I think they've done enough. They've certainly deserved to win.
I wasn't sure what the prize was as that was kept secret. Not much was done with the thread and the guild has pretty much been hanging out for a single winner. To say the least, I was skeptical of what exactly was the prize. I feared the worst. I couldn't help it. The contest bothered me to no end.
So I began to drum up some possible prizes. I've been making gold pretty good lately, so thoughts about spending the rest of the week earning gold for the contest were the first in my mind. Then I thought about doing that and using the gold for my OMFG. Then I earned a pinklink, which I thought was wonderful and more than a mere coincidence with my brainstorming ideas and thoughts of prayers to -[J-Chan]- that she had some sort of a prize.
And then she showed me what she had and I had to give serious consideration of going out and buying a lottery ticket tomorrow. Too many good things have been happening today (despite my brother's dog chewing up a collectable angelic kitty sad )! She wowed my socks off and left me stunned. Totally unexpected and delightfully surprised.
And I'm still going to help her out, because she's right. To divide among three would shrink the prize, but if I chip in enough, then the prize wouldn't be all that small. The questions are:
- how is she thinking of dividing up the prize? (3 ways obviously)
- when will the contest officially end for the prizes to be given out? (end now, prizes by the end of the week? finish at the end of this week and give out prizes? more time would certainly help me assist her)
- and some other random question that I've forgotten by now. sweatdrop
