Velvitine Crosses
Black cords and hallow laughs Haunt my benign prison I can't seem to leave behind This figment of corprieal vision
It rips a thin red line Through my hazy dreams Where one should find safety and security I find my shattered remains it seems
I remember being told to be stead-fast in my beliefs To remain until the bitter end As blind and mis-lead as preists
Holy men are just people Who will be curopted by their power They lie, and coat others in blood Just the scars won't be visable until the velvitine hour
When the silver linning desends as a cross Only to be tarnished by my loss
