I think that the most valid statement ever is, "Life goes on." It's so simple, but it has so much meaning for different people in different parts of their lives in different meanings. Did that make sense? Probably not. For instance. Someone who is going through a hard time and hears "life goes on" and is depressed as ******** and is probably contemplating suicide will see that and say, "Life goes on.... whether I'm alive or not, it will go on. It's not waiting for anymore." On the other hand, someone who is going through a hard time and "hears life goes on" and is trying to get better or has even a shred of optimism might say, "Life goes on. Life moves on. And so should I."
I am proud to be the latter. Life is going on, and I am going along with it. No dwelling, just progressing. Right? It's okay to have memories. But it's not okay to self-loathe about it.
