It's nights like this I lie awake and wonder what I've been doing with my life. I wonder why I insist on living through the challenges I face everyday. Why I choose to over come the obstacles I do. Getting out of bed is a challenge in itself. Not because of my physical condition, but because of my state of mind. If I was ever asked to describe myself in one word, it would be "broken". This is due to the fact my mind and heart are both shattered. I attempt to be hopeful someone will put the pieces back together of one. But that moment has yet to come, and each day that passes take a small amount of my hope away. How long before none is left? What I want is to feel complete again. I wish I could feel complete again..
