Neo isn't one of the most colorful people around. To be honest, he's one of those people you'd expect to say, "Uh huh. Right. Whatever", whenever you say something as an aside while he's working on something. Despite his bad choices in the past and the way he came about, he has a stoic persona with a mundane look at life. However, he has a guiding code of ethics and principles that keep him leaning on the side of good instead of neutral. He tends to come alive when music is being played, though, it doesn't happen often. This all washes away once he gets to know a person though. At which point, he'd either act less like a brick wall and more of a "Let's go" kind of guy. All his friends knows 2 specific things about him. If you want him to act a certain way, play music, and, whatever you do, don't hurt a female.
Likes: Rock, guitars, those who can sing
Dislikes: Bad singing, people who make fun of the weak, woman abusers
Powers/Abilities: Enhanced Synesthesia/Power of sound
Sound Manipulation: He has the ability to emit, manifest, and control sound waves. Because he has synesthesia(a weird disorder where one opens up a second sense when another is activated.) he can see what he hears( because this is a natural condition, it's not necessarily a power on its own. By accessing his brain's inner workings, he is able to take his disorder into a super power. When using his guitar, he is able to concentrate the sound waves into a concussive blast, into another location, a type of field, etc. Of course, this is just the moving it about.
Serenade/Charm/Lure: They say music can speak to you. That it can sooth the savage beast. By using his guitar, Neo is able to make a serenade which can charm humans and animals, however, the higher one's brain power, the harder it is to control. This is why, with humans, he can only charm to give them a hint of a whim to come to him or to have a random thought instilled in their brain. This tends to happen with enough exposure to some music overall( links between rap music and female abuse, rock and murder, country and suicide, etc.) If they are unaware of this, they'd let it repeat like a song stuck in their head, but being self aware will cause them to think twice. With animals, it'll lull them into a calmness which could be used advantage of and manipulated. His music could cause them to sleep, follow, or to attack.
Sonar: Of course, since people may complain about him seeing sound, let's make it an ability, anyways. He has a type of passive and active sonar. He can see sound in small flashes of light that happens passively or actively. Using this, he can tell where in a 360 angle somebody is compared to his position. Sneaking up on him does not work when one lacks efficient guile. Passively, it'll pick up loud sounds from a distance or quiet sounds within a 15 foot radius. Actively, it'll be able to pinpoint anything making noise within 75 foot radius. Perception within the radius changes with the sound level. The louder it is, the further away he could pick it up. The softer, it must be closer.
Weaknesses: He's human. He doesn't have super strength or super endurance. No super speed. No super agility. His only power is sound. If he doesn't have his guitar, then he can't use his power. He must use something that can emit sound to make an attack. Snapping his fingers can only cause a p***k.
Incredibly loud sounds. Sound interference doesn't really interfere with his powers if it's not powerful enough. The problem is that Neo has gained acute hearing. It's not as powerful as a dog's, but it's more powerful than a human causing him to come to more harm with sound based attacks towards him. That's why he always wears headphones and has his MP3 player at a very low volume.
The cold. Neo is anemic. That means his blood has a naturally low iron level. This causes his body to not be able to regulate his internal temperature properly. He is slow to heat. This is good against heat in the summer, but in the winter, even though he may be slow to feeling it, he'd soon chill before most people and collapse to hypothermia.
Weapons: His prized Heartbreaker Guitar. Without it, his power over sound decays exponentially
