I'm sitting in my office, finishing up another case, and all of a sudden, I get a call from Flynn. Apparently there's been a murder around here, and I've been asked to check it out. [I'm a prosecutor, not a detective.....!] The crime scene doesn't show much; the body is still here and the murder weapon has been identified. A stabbing. It seems to me that the murderer was after a briefcase of sorts, and possibly got away with it! By why? And who would do it? I'll need some time to investigate.....
-What are your thoughts on the Case of Pietro?
-Excited about a murder mystery EI?
-How much do you wanna bet Labtech X is behind this?'
CASE FILE
The Case of Pietro [Flynn told me that the Case of Pietro is being sought after. I'm going to assume that the murderer ran off with the Case! Note: Pietro, in Italian, is "Peter."]
The Murder [Blood is still wet. Murder must have been recent. Not to mention messy. Did the victim put up a struggle?]
The Victim [I can't identify who this is just yet. But once I do, I can figure out to some degree how important the Case is. Could this be Pietro?]
The Evidence [Must have been the murder weapon. It's even got traces of blood on it. Not conclusive, but this knife could give me some leads.]
The Thief's Eyeblack [Witnesses reported seeing an individual run from the scene of the crime with eye black on. This guy isn't a linebacker, I hope...]
The Detective's Mole [Not exactly a clue, but the lead investigator of this case has a mole. Moley moley moley!]
Inspector's Gloves [With all of the blood everywhere, gloves are a must. Don't want to get fingerprints anywhere, too.]
Police reports say that the autopsy will take at least 3 weeks until we get more data. This is the perfect amount of time for me to consider the evidence at hand. But I don't think this is enough to make any solid conclusions. Also, Dr. Singh and Timmy are expected to provide their own commentary on the Case this Friday, but how helpful the commentary will be remains to be seen.

Check out the image! It's called "copsnrobbers." It's an aerial view of our murderer getting away with the Case of Pietro, and it looks like someone is taking it from the thief! There's the knife, the victim in the sheet.... and our investigator, complete with handcuffs, gloves, and that mole. You can also see someone behind the investigator and what seems to be the Catastrophe sticking out suspiciously....
Questions:
"Why would the sheet be on the victim as this is going on? Did the murderer put on the sheet BEFORE the police arrived?"
"Did the police know this was going to happen? Or did the victim hold off the thief enough for the police to almost catch him/her?"
"The way the blood is stained on the knife, it doesn't look like a stabbing anymore. Was the victim sliced badly and he/she died losing blood?"
"There's no blood on the murderer, only on the floor. Was the victim able to pull off a struggle? Or was it a well-executed sneak attack?"
"Why didn't the murderer take the murder weapon with him/her?"
