Last year, I had mentioned wanting to save up for a cello... And this is how the conversation went;
Her: "You should ask for it for your birthday. I really miss hearing you play cello."
Me: "Uh.. Cellos are like, two thousand dollars :/"
Her: "I'm sure we can find one for a decent price."
So, I found out that there is a school that teaches cello (I got sick before I could finish learning), and I'm like "Wow.. Maybe I'll ask for this for my birthday?" She said, "Lessons?" I said "Yeah, and a cello."
And then she says "Wtf? Cellos are like, nine hundred dollars!"
Then she proceeded to get mad at me for being sad about her telling me I should ask for it in the first place... I really just want to cry. Now I have to find all that money if I want to play... She actually got pissed and said "Sometimes you need to find your own way to something, not just expect me to help you." It totally broke my heart. I ******** would have found my own way if she hadn't ******** told me that I might get it for my birthday, and now I get a good smack in the face.
I could just ******** cry.
