"Something is wrong, terribly wrong. I can feel it. Something's about to happen, something's going to change our lives. I just know it. It's like a sixth sense, don't ask me where I got it. It's like that gut feeling, but worse. Something's going to happen. Something terrible. Something tear jerkingly terrible. Please give me a sign? Any kind of sign that everyone I know and love is alright." Those words fell from her lips like poison, just making everything seem more real. Just moments ago everything surreal, now it felt true as she whispered the words up to the wide open starry sky.
A man stood behind her, long orange blond hair pulled back in a loose pony-tail, "What are you over there whispering about Alyrea?" he asked throwing an arm around her shoulders, and looking down at her through a pair of glasses which just made him seem intelligent, and attractive. The young woman looked up at him as he threw his arm around her, "Something's wrong, that's what... I just can't put my finger on it yet." she said smiling up at him to mask her nervousness.
Blue eyes looked back up at the man's green, her hair was almost the same color as his; though she had streaks of gold and brown in her hair. They were both pale as far as living in a sunny state went.
