SOME NEW DEVELOPMENTS

Wow! Quite a busy day today! First thing I did when I stepped out my door was go hunting for that stupid blue butterfly again. I went trekking all over the neighborhood trying to find one. I even walked all the way to the edge of the suburbs where there weren't many houses. Still no luck. I finally got so frustrated that I just gave up and decided to check the market instead. Wouldn't you know it, I found what I was looking for almost immediately. For only a few golds too!

So, after getting all three butterflies I headed up to the Faktori and gave them to that odd little robot. I was kinda shocked by what he did next; Bildeau just opened up a panel in his chest and shoved them in there! Poor guy, I think they scrambled his circuits. He didn't seem to mind though, gave me some garbled poetry to take back to Liam. I wasn't too impressed by it but the boy was positively stoked when I got back. He rushed into the back office and quickly returned with several letters he wanted me to deliver to the girls around town. After I saw the first one, I wasn't so sure this was a good idea. I mean, what was he thinking?! And that fish must have tasted terrible!

Went back to C&A and tried to convince him to do something else. Liam wouldn't hear it though, no matter how I went about telling him. Against my better judgment I delivered the rest of the letters. Quite predictably, the other two went over just as badly as the first. As I headed Back I felt kinda sorry for Liam. He seemed to take the news pretty well though, vowing to try again withsomething different. I only wish the boy could have learned his lesson the easy way. So, to thank me for running all over town Liam gave me that photo of him and the fish. Yeh, wasn't quite sure how to take that. I think I mumbled something polite and left the shop as quickly as possible. Really, that kid has some of the strangest ideas.

Well, at least my morning wasn't a total loss. While I was out hunting for that butterfly, I managed to pick up quite a bit of trash. Now, I know collecting litter doesn't sound like a great way to spend your time but there's a reason. See the other day I found out that Peyo (the cute little girl at the hat shop) collects used paper to make all sorts of origami and hats. Some of it is quite beautiful, though not really my style. You should have seen her face light up when I brought her what I'd found. In no time at all the darling had made several small hats for me to wear. She's so kind, just like her mother, and I walked out of the store with a smile.

After several days of fishing at the local pond, I had finally caught enough to give to old man Logan. So I was expecting to get some cool prize or something, but what dose he offer me? More Fish! Yes, they are bigger and better fish but I still don't know what I'm supposed to do with them all. Maybe If I catch enough bass and trade those in I'll find out.

This afternoon I took the subway to explore part of the city I hadn't been to before. [ ZOMG in case you can't guess] A lot of weird stuff is going on around there. I heard something about rings and crystals but didn't really understand much of it. There are a lot of these weird monsters running around too. Really freaky some of them. People are saying that G-Corp is up to something again but no one knows exactly what. On a lighter note: I managed to make a couple new friends today. We played in the fountain for over an hour. Unfortunately I forgot to get there contact information afterwards. Hopefully I'll meet them again sometime.
