The moon hung high in the warm summer night sky and cast its cold glow on the forest below it. A warm, southern wind rustled the trees as a hand would run through a head of hair. Crickets chirped their nightly calls and cicada's buzzed. Mother Nature hummed. All was quiet in the Fairy Kingdom. Peasants lay all tucked in their beds wings held tight and eyes closed. Stable workers locke dup the horseflies and store owners took quick inventory. All was still in the Castle that night, for a while.
The young King and Queen lay in their bed. Xang had his arms wrapped protectively around his wife's nine-month pregnant belly, as if protectiong the precious thing inside. Fair Queen Navarnia's eyes were dashing back and forth beneath her soft eyelids as she saw things in her dreams. All was still.
Then the Queen's eyes shot open and she gasped. She felt a contraction. It was coming. She looked over at her peacefully sleeping husband and awoke him, whispering "My love, the baby's coming." They have been waiting for this night for weeks. Xang groggily opened his eyes, not comprehending what was going on at the moment. Then alertness slapped him in the face and he realized that his young wife was going into labor. He leapt off the bed and his large moth-like wings spread out. He stalked pointlessly around the room in a frenzied panic. Navarnia sighed adn just pulled the rope that was hanging a little bit away from her side of the bed down, which summons the servants...
