Xang sat nervously outside of the door of the Doctor's office. His wife, Navarnia, has been feeling weird lately, so she scheduled a doctors appointment. Xang fidgeted worringly; he was worried. After having her die, then have a heart attack, a guy could get pretty protective! He buried his face into his hands and sighed. "Come on Navi......" he whispered to his shakey hands. The door opened and the young queen stepped out with an expression of utter shock on her fair face. "What did the doctor say, Navi?" he asked quietly as he looked up at his girl.
Navi wrapped her thin arms around herself and shuddered, "X-Xang.....I-"
"What do you have?" he asked again, "Something lifechanging...." she whimpered as a large tear fell down her face. "Oh no..." he choked a bit and contined, his usually soft and deep voice cracking "H-How long d-do you have?" he saidas she got up and hugged his wife tightly. Navi didn't hug back, she just kept her arms around her middle as if protecting something.
"Navi?" She didn't answer
"Is it cancer?"
"No!" he burst out crying. She violently tgged away from him. "Xang, p-plase let go!" she pleaded. He refused, "Not untill you tell me! What do you have!?" his questioning got louder. She struggled and pleaded more, "Dear Rondyl! WHAT DO YOU HAVE, WOMAN!?" he finally yelled at her. She stilled and quieted still sobbing here and there. Her big blue eyes stared up into his amber colored ones. She grabbed his shakey hands and laid them over her belly. Xang looked back and forth between his girl's face and his hands. He couldn't get the idea. So Navi took a deep breath in and said it "Xang, I'm carrying your child."
His eyes widened, "You-You're pregnant?" he whispered as he took his hands off and backed away his lips mouthing 'No'. "....I-I I KNEW YOU'D BE UPSET!!!" and she ran off, wailing her eyeballs out. After she a distance away, he chased after. "Navi! Navi, wait!" he called out. He found her his their room, curled up on the bed muttering "I can't have a baby! I'm not srtong enough to give birth to a baby! I can't.....". He slowly made his way over to the bed and kneeled down in fron of her. Navi sank back a bit, afraid that he might yell at her again. "Navi, I'm sorry I yelled. I-I was just surprised. I'm really overjoyed that you're pregnant." he reached out and gently stroked Navarnia's blonde hair as his eyes watered a bit, "I never thought that we could do this, until now." Navi's eyes watered up again as she held his hand is hers,
"You're not mad?"
"Complete opposite." his hand ran down from her hair to her cheek, neck, chest, and stopped at her belly. She leaned in and kissed her husband, who let big crocodile tears fall down his flawless, tan face. Wel will raise this child, love it, care for it and teach it right from wrong. Don't be afraid, my love. he caithed as he tried to ease her shivering. Navi calmed down and relaxed, "We need to pick out names now, Daddy."
