Animal Crossing: Wild World Walkthrough
I got bored! < mad

I'll make you guys my own custom-made, fully home-cooked, awesome-possom AC:WW:Walkthrough

[hr]

.:: Starting Out ::.

Your Town

• You talk to Kapp'n, in his water-logged Cab, and some of the questions are vital to how your Town will turn out.

There is not a certain code that will get you this certain town layout, but when Kapp'n asks you what convinced you to move, there's choices like The Beach, The Town Hall, The Museum, ect--, when you pick one of those options, what it will do, is, is that your town will sort of "focus" on that option when the town is developing. For example, you choose The Beach, then most of the map will concentrate on the Beach being long, and easy-to-fish.

This is just a theory, but most towns have thier own "trait".

Do you notice that when you go to someone else's town, they get more falling stars than you do? Or fish are more abundant in another town than your's? Or bugs? Or fossils???

I have a theory that depending on which option you choose, (for the reason you're moving) your town will have that trait.

Your House

• When you first start your AC:WW Town, the color of your house's roof will be the same as your Favorite Color, setted in your Nintendo DS. For example, on the welcoming screen when you first turn on your DS, you click on Settings, then you set your favorite color.
[hr]
Your Job

• When you visit your house for the first time, you come out, then a Racoon named Tom Nook will scurry over to your house from the left. He will give you instructions on what-to-do, then you go over to his shop, Nook's Cranny.

Steps:

• First, he will ask you to change into your Working Clothes. Go into your inventory, then drag the pink shirt icon to your charater, then exit the inventory. Talk to him again, then he will give you your next instructions.

• Second, he will as you to plant some plants around his shop. You don't need to plant the saplings and flowers spicificly near his shop, but, flowers are nice to have near a store, no?

Scatter the saplings and flowers wherever you want, then go back and talk to Tom Nook.

• Third, he will ask you to get to know the neighbors. You will start out with three neighbors in your town. Talk to them all, but don't talk to them twice!

The reason why I'm asking you not to ask them twice, is because if you have a favorite villager that's in your town, talk to them twice, and that villager will ask you some questions about yourself.

He or She will ask you what's your birthday, and remember to give them the CORRECT date! When it is your Birthday, that animal will come to your house, and will give you a Birthday Cake. That animal will not leave your town until they give you your birthday present. So expect them to be in your town for a long time.

The animal will also ask for your Blood Type. (So they somewhat know a bit of your personality) Tell them, then they will ask no more questions.

Remember to talk to The Mayor, and he will ask who you respect the most. If you say The Mayor, he will be happy, but if you say anything else, he'll be sad. But this won't vary with how he treats you throughout the game!

Now, go back to Tom Nook and talk to him.

• Fourth, he will ask you to send a letter to [Villager Name].

Remember to use perfect Capitalization and Puncuation when writing! Villagers also respond to certain words, and this is what I say in daily letters:

Dear [Villager],
Best friends, love, hope,
gifts. Visit Soon!

Sincerely, [Your Name]

Go to The Post Office, then give the letter to the Pelican, and she will send the letter to that animal.

Go back and talk to Tom Nook.

• Fifth, you're getting pretty far, here! Now Tom Nook will ask you to deliver some items. Remember to go back to Tom Nook after every delivery!

The first delivery will be a carpet. Tom Nook will ask you to deliver that item to the same person you sent the letter to. When you deliver that item to that villager, he or she will show you the letter you just sent, and will tell you about how much Villagers love letters.

The villager will give you thier old carpet.

The second delivery is a wallpaper. Deliver the wallpaper, then the villager will give you thier old wallpaper.

The third, and last delivery, is a watering can. Deliver the watering can, then the villager will talk to you about watering withering flowers, then he or she will give you one piece of furniture.

• Sixth, and this is the last one, Tom Nook will ask you to post a message on the Builitin Board, or "BB".

Post something, anything, on the board, then talk to Tom Nook. He will deduct your mortgage by 1,400 Bells, then he will finally let you play your game!

I'm Free~!

Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection

Now you can get your Friend Code. (If you have Wi-Fi USB Connector, or a Wireless Router) Talk to Booker, (the stern-gentleman inside the Gate) and say "Friend Code!" he will give you your friend code after he tests the Wi-Fi connection, then you can start playing Wi-Fi!

The Best Ways to Getting Money

• Fishing, and selling the fish to Tom Nook
• Don't bother selling bugs to Tom Nook, they don't sell for much at all.
• Sell all the Shells at the Beach
• Sell all the Fruit you shake off of Trees

[hr]

Daily Chores

• Sell Fruit and Shells
• Send a letter to every villager
• Talk to Copper, asking him if there are any special events in town
• Check Tom Nook's store, to see if there's anything you'd like to buy
• Fish a little, then pay some more debt to Tom Nook

Optional Chores

• Visit someone's town
• Invite someone over to your town
• Throw a party in your town
• Have long conversations with all your villagers
• Use furniture and make your house look nice

Awesome walkthrough!

Also, I read somewhere that when Kapp'n asks you what convinced you to move, the option you choose determines the location of your house.
