My parents are getting divorced.
This happened yesterday. (Monday) Well, I mean, yesterday is when they got in this huge fight... I'll tell you what happened. But I don't know all of it. I'll just tell you my side of the story.
Okay, so... For a while my dad has been hanging out with this chick who was his 'friend' and he talked with her online all the time. My mom thought it was fishy so she was uneasy.
Last night Dad told my mom that he was going to be home at 6:00 PM after work. But he wasn't there. So my mom called him, and he said that he was having dinner with his friends so he'll be at home at 9:00 PM. He came home at like, 10/11 PM. I was in bed, but I wasn't asleep. I was just thinking in my mind, minding my own business, then I went out of bed (in my room) to feed my fish. Then I heard loud yelling, so I put my ear to the door. I thought it was coming from the hallway, and I heard a "******** SHUT UP!" (it was my dad's voice) So I thought that he was talking to Chelsea or Leighanne (my sisters) about homework or something. But I thought that was fishy, because he would NEVER EVER talk to them that way. So I walked out there, and it was actually in my mom's room, behind closed doors. So I got scared 'cause they were yelling and screaming and cursing, so I went to the kitchen to get some water, and when I passed by the door to go outside I heard a "Sarah!" from my sister Chelsea. But I kept walking and drank only a little water because I was really shooken up 'cause my parents never had a fight as loud as this. So I was walking back to my room, and my sister said "SARAH!" and she walked into the house from outside and grabbed my hand and her face was all red and she was crying, then her boyfriend, my sister leighanne and chelsea were all in a little circle (hugging) and leighanne hugged me and Chelsea was weeping like a.... Weeping... Weeper! She was like "I don't know what to do I don't know what to do tell me what I need to doooo *sobsob*" I was like O.< (I was the most mellow one from the trio, but that doesnt mean I wasn't scared. I was terrified) Then leighanne went into her car just to sit int here, and I went int here with her, and she was talking to her man friend on the phone about the situation, bla dee bla...
Then later, I saw my dad walk out of the house and he went to his car and opened the trunk of his car or something, then he went over to chelsea and chris (her boyfriend) and told chelsea something, then she walked over to the car, and Leighanne said to his friend on the phone "aaah.. I want to go out and talk tohim but I.. don't." Then when Dad knocked on the car window leighanne busted out of there and went right up to him and said "I DON'T EVER WANT YOU TO TELL MY MOM TO ******** SHUT UP EVER AGAIN! I DON'T WANT YOU TO EVER SPEAK LIKE THAT TO HER EVER AGAIN!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?" My dad was like "Ok." then leighanne stood there and dad opened the door in the car where I was sitting and he said "are you okay Sarah?" then I just turned my head. He stood there for like two minutes then he said "I'm sorry." and then he closed the door, went to his car, and drove off.
My dog was in the car, btw. When I opened the door to go inside the car, my dog jumped in. He was freaked out, too. (Dogs can sense if humans are stressed) And, I went out of the car, I tried to open the door so buddy (the dog) would get out, but he wouldn't move so I told my sister Chelsea that he was in the car and he wouldn't come out. so then I went into the house, and Leighanne was hugging my mom and then I hugged her and then later when chelsea's boyfriend, leighanne, mom and I were all together in the house, mom said that dad told her that he was planning about leaving (divorcing her) in January, but he decided to do it now.
Then my sister leighanne went onto the computer and was talking to her friends on MSN about the situation, (I read over her shoulder... shh) and she was like "What do I do? What if my mom can't support herself?" yada yada.
Then I played one round of Mancala (a board game) with chelsea's boyfriend, and my sister chelsea threw up (in the toilet) from stress. Then later I went to bed... THen today, I asked my mom if dad ever came back, and she said he came back at 2:00AM and left for work at 7:00 AM.
Then my mom told me "did you know that your father has Bi Polar?" then I was like WHAT!?!?!?!??!?!? then the phone rang and it was her friend Cathy so she talked to her for awhile.
Now I'm just pissed because I never knew that my dad was a retard. (Well he's not a retard, but I just like calling him that now because he was a total a** with my mom)
Oh, by the way, they were fighting because my mom confronted him about her suspicion of him cheating on her.
