Bio: I was riding in the back of my father's black pick-up truck. It was raining, so he encouraged me to come inside, but he didn't say I had to so I stayed where I was. We were on our way to a picnic, but it rained so we didn't get to eat yet. Then it happened. The truck fell off a cliff. I fell out of the truck and the tree branches cushioned the fall. The truck rolled, crushing my parents. I watched the blood seep steadly from the demolished truck as I fell into a deep sleep.
I awoke to the sound of footsteps. They were faint, but they were real. I opened my eyes to see a small boy walking towards me. He looked confused to see me. He was here to help me! I would be saved after all! He walked up to my and reached into my pocket. At first I thought he was reaching for my cell phone, but when he pulled his hand out, he had the omusubi that I was going to eat for lunch, and was stuffing it into his mouth like it was his! I didn't know weather or not my voice would work, but I was about to find out! Oh how I screamed at that boy. He ran off crying, and as he left, I hear more footsteps approaching me.
He just looked at me for a minute. Then he came up to me and said, "your life doesn't have to end like this. I can help you. If you swear to serve the red ribbon army, you can live forever. Do you promise to serve Dr. Gero and the red ribbon army?" I don't usually give in to that kind of crap, but unlike the fights I get into at school, my friends weren't there to weasel we out. I accepted his offer, and he carried me off to the professor.
I didn't hear anything for a long time. The first thing I hear is "what were you thinking 17, this girl is nothing more than crap. Why did you bring her here anyway?" Then I hear his voice, but I was starting to dose off. But I was able to make out " No 18, she is different, you'll see. Anyway, she swore to the army so she could be of some use to us..."
I could feel the professor's cold, clammy hands operating on my brain. Suddenly he stopped and said "I will not stand for this any more. I quit." 17 was at the door. He simply said "we don't need you." I hear the sound of medal hitting medal, and a smashing sound. then I could feel 17's hands, much softer, picking up right where the professor left off.
Hours later I herd him say "that’s it, good as new." I felt like I had never been in any accident at all. But then I remembered my parents. as if he could read my mind, 17 said "we are your family now, 21" I smiled, he was right. now I was one of the androids of the red ribbon army. I was no longer kaori Kino but android 21. I join the androids quest to not only have robots rule west city, but to seek revenge on the one named Goku.
