A crisp wind blew from the south and blew his blood red scarg in front of him. His silver hair reflected the moon light as he stared over the cliff and into the deep blue ocean. As he looked around he knew that he was, once more, alone. Finally being alone, Kitsune ears and a tail sprouted from his body and a dark shround covered his face, turning his eyes to white glowing orbs. As he reopened his eyes a purple flame spread in a circle around his feet. Finally, a large wing of fire jutted out from his right shoulder blade. This is the description of the only Anti-Hero known throughout the land. His name, Sokein Zakara. His job? He has no job, however, his mission is to end the lives of the demons that once, long ago, terrorized his life and turned him into what he was this day. He wind blew harder, wiping the crimson scarf around his body. This is his story. The story of.... Sokein Zakara, The Hellslayer.
As he walked back into the city, a dead-calm surrounded him. This silence was bone chilling and it could have only meant one thing. Demons had once again returned to this town. A hellish smirk spread across his face as he sensed where the demons were spawning. As he walked through the stone streets his pitch-black armor reflected the street light and the moonlight. It was rumored that the armor was that of The Cursed Knight, Damascus. He walked unarmed but those who would think him helpless learned their lessons with a swift blur. As he rounded a corner, Sokein spotted a dark Sphere floating in mid-air as demons poured out of it. He smirked and quickened his pace, the armor now growing veins of crimson and flame. The mantle around his neck released two spikes and red energy pulsed between them. His boots echoed with the clash of steel against stone as he walked to the Sphere. A small group of low-class Caste demons faced him. They cackled fiendeshly and rushed towards him. From there, Sokein's true power was shown.
As the pack of Caste Demons leapt towards him, he moved almost as a shadow. He left a darkened after image as he moved behind the Demons in an instant. He jabbed his fist into one of the enemies and it howled in pain as he released energy into its body, causing an overload and combusting it instantly. The other four Demons looked at him cautiously as they circled around him. The first one pounced and he lowered his body down to the ground. The Demons let out a yelp as he delivered a massive uppercut to the Demon's chest, crushing the bones and blasting a hole clear through it. Three more remained and they all launched their assault at once. Sokein smirked once more and twisted sharply on his heel, delivering a spin kick to the face of a Demon. The other two Demons grabbed each of his arms and tried to pull him to the floor. His eyes glowed to an even brighter shade of white as he jumped into the air, nearly fifty feet off the ground, pulling the other two with him. He laughed and whispered, "I shall send you back to the Hell from which you were spawned!" He began to spin in the air, causing a gust in the streets. He released the two creatures and hurdled them at the sphere. As they crashed into it, the flesh began to burn from their bodies. As he came back down to the ground, a high-pitched shriek was heard as the Demons were obliterated and the Sphere broke into shards and what appeared to be a small orb of flame.
He picked up the orb and tucked it inside his armor for safe keeping. As he glared down the side street, he saw something that truly amused him. A giant, blood red demon stood there, staring at him. It roared some slur in its own demonic language and slowly began to move toward him. He sighed once more and muttered to himself, "I suppose I am going to have to use the Flames." He took a defensive stance and began to unleash his true form. The ears and tail reappeared and the flames spread in the circle around his feet. The intense Flames around his back formed a wing on his right side. With the transformation complete, he moved as he did before, quickly yet followed by a shadowy after image. In less than a few seconds he had almost closed the gap between him and the Demon. As he drew closer, he recognized the demon to be Khalzen, one of Lucifer's elite leaders. He stood before the towering beheamoth and looked up. Khalzen roared once more in that foul sounding language that only a select few, including Sokein, could understand. Rougly translated, Khalzen had said "So.... the Hellslayer has come to banish us back? Ha! Let us see how strong you truly are!" As the echo died down, Khalzen swung a giant, raven-black cleaver at Sokein. He dodged quickly as the cleaver crushed the ground where he had been standing. Sokein jumped up into the air and came face to face with Khalzen. He grew a hellish smile as he spun in the air and delivered a round house kick to the beast's face. Khalzen slid back, his face oozing the dark green blood that ran through all Demons' bodies. The fight raged on for hours, yet Sokein still remained untouched and Khalzen grew more heavily injured with every flourish. Sokein leapt back onto the wall and began chanting in an unknown language. The wing that was on his back began to create a ball of flame in the palm of his hand. Sokein shouted with a booming voice that shook the very city, "Time to die, Khalzen!!!" He thrust the orb of flame forward, sending a torrent of flame down the street, scorching everything in its path. As the flames died down and the smoke cleared, a weakened Khalzen was seen, resting on one knee, his body still smouldering. Khalzen spoke in the language of the humans, "You may have won this round.... Human, but this war is far from over...." With those words being uttered, the massive Demon began to meld into the ground and finally dissapeared. Sokein let out a sigh of relief and turned to return to his house.
