WHY?
why do we look up when the worlds falling down?
why do we sit in the shade and frown?
why do we always grow and die?
why do we sit in our chairs and cry?
we could be looking at the big blue sky
making good changes until we die.

why do we laugh at someones race
when there is a different color on there face?
why do we always stop and stair
but in the end "do we care"?
why is the drug in their hand
when there life is in the can?
people think it will never change
but all we need is rearrange.

why do we kill flowers and trees
and murder people who fall to their knees?
why do we only think of ourselves
when we have money, cars, and trophies on shelves?
why cant we spend a little time
make life better for yours and mine?
now take a look way deep in your heart
for a good idea so he new world will start.
