The Nightly News with Eli.... Brokaw.... XD
"Write about one thing today that made you smile."

Zuyut: dammit, i really need my laptop back....
IttyBttyKittyNyo: :3
Zuyut: how am i going to track the woot off and play EQ at the same time....
IttyBttyKittyNyo: I'll lay on the couch and play ffxii smile
Zuyut: hehe
Zuyut: and this is why im marrying you XP

I don't think it needs much more elaboration xd

"Reflect on the following statement: 'In an online world, for as connected as we seem to be, there is something key missing in the interaction that makes it real.'"

I really think opinions on that statement will very from person to person.

To me, the people who are my friends on Gaia aren't just my "friends on Gaia"

They're my friends plain and simple.

Steve's sister was a little worried about my intent on having Reddy as a bridesmaid.

"You mean you don't really know her?"

But I do. I've never spoken to her face to face in person (though that will change in 6 weeks xd ), but I've spoken to her on Gaia, on AIM, on skype voice chat, and through webcam as well. I trust her as much as I trust Steve. I know that if I need someone to talk to, she's there. And vice versa.

To me that's what it means to be a friend.

You can argue all you want that it's so easy to be fake on the internet, and how can you really know the person if all you know them by is online.

I say it's just as easy to fake your way through relationships of any kind off the computer as well. It's not as easy to say "i'm a 12 y/o girl" when you're really a 32 y/o man, but meh xp It still happens every day everywhere that someone is friends with, dating, or perhaps even married to someone who isn't really who they think the person is.

awww so sweet that statement is. And very true. I think the same, all the great friends I made on gaia are real friends, although I haven't encountered them face to face.

Agreed. You're so smart, Eli! D:

I think it's wonderful how much you love your Reddy. :3 And she must be happy to be your bridesmaid, too.

All the same, there are the predators out there. They always hit the "ON" button for my AngryFace. D:<

XD; Anyways, yeah. I agree with you. I have some friends who do turn out fakers, a lot of the time. But I've noticed that it gets them nowhere. Well, except backwards. Hahaha. Stay true to yourself, and so will the majority of those around you, too. <3

[PS] I love your guides in the PD, even though right now I'm too lazy to use them. ._.

It is usually easy to spot the "fakers" and weed them out and find out who a friend is and who is not a friend, if that is possible. Real life or onlines, sometimes rats turn out to be friends and friends turn out to be rats. I've had online friends that mean a lot to me. Sometimes I get too attatched to people or the screen name or e-mail or whatever, I'll admit that. I have some of my best conversations online. Sometimes, when there are only words there, it is easier to connect on a deeper level. Friend means friend, online or otherwise

Aww...Even though I saw this late, it made me feel all mooshy and special inside. ;w; <8

My friend warned me about online predators (as if I don't know they exist) the other day when I told him I was going to be seeing you in May. I told him I don't have anything to worry about.

You're one of (if not the) closest friend I have, and I'm glad that I met you, and that I'll for reals get to meet you soon.
