Covered in blood
Not able to speak
"How could this happen?"
I gave out a shriek.
I turned around
But saw no one in sight
I got on my knees
And stared at him with fright.
Not saying a sound
Not a breathing breath
In his pocket, a letter I found,
It was a threat.
"Tell of our doings,
And we'll send you to hell,
Tell who we are
And your family dies as well"
