MORE MOVIE TIME!! PLEASE READ AND COMMENT, PARTICULARLY IF YOU'RE INVOLVED IN THE MOVIE!!! I'd love suggestions!

SCENE 2: THE KITCHEN Kids enter kitchen, Raven and Lily sit down.
Kate: [walks over to fridge and opens it, starts going through it] Hmm….
Lily: I want a sandwich, Kate! Peanut butter and jelly!
Kate: Okay, okay, I’m looking right now! All I can find is escargot, hor d’euvres, and some leftover squash ravioli.
Raven: Did Dad have another dinner party last night?
Kate: I think so, except these hor d’euvres are actually from the one last week….I’m gonna throw them out. [throws them into trash and goes back to looking through the fridge]
Lily: What’s escargot?
Raven: They’re snails.
Lily: Are they hormone snails?
Kate: [turns to glare at Raven] See what you’ve done?!
Raven: [grins obnoxiously at Kate] Oh yes, I see…..[turns to lily] Lily, hormone snails are actually purple. [thinks] No, lavender.
Kate: [rolls her eyes]
Lily: Ooh, wow, a purple snail? I want a hormone.
Kate: Oh dear God…[under her breath]
Raven: [struggles to keep from cracking up] Well, you only have to wait a few more years….
Kate: [smacks Raven on the arm] Shut up! You’re gonna scar her for life, Roger!
Raven: Don’t you dare call me Roger! My name is RAVEN!!!
Kate: No, the name you made up off the top of your mind is Raven….use your god-given name for goodness sakes! [shakes off Lily, who is tugging on her arm]
Lily: Hey-
Raven: It’s not god-given, it’s given by a mom who took off and a dad who wouldn’t care if I called myself Batman!
Kate: Look, he’s busy okay? Now stop talking like that in front of your little sister!
Raven: You know what, just whatever. He’s an a** and you know it.
Lily: [ignoring their argument, tugs persistently on Raven’s sleeve] HEY! Why do I have to wait to get a hormone snail? Why can’t I have one now?
Kate: [stares, like she’s trying to remember the other conversation, then sighs] Oh for Pete’s sake…..this is getting ridiculous.
Raven: [smiles, switching moods] Nah, I’d say it’s getting pretty darn funny…
Kate: [looking through the fridge again] I can’t find any damn peanut butter and jelly!
Lily: [trying to be like Kate] but I want some damn peanut butter and jelly!
Kate: Lily! Stop swearing!
Raven: Well where d’you think she learned it from? [grins obnoxiously again]
Kate: [sighs in exasperation] YOU, maybe? Just…[shakes her head in irritation]
Lily: I wanna peanut butter and jelly sandwich!
Kate: Look, Lily, we haven’t got anything here! All that’s in the fridge is all of Dad’s dinner party foods. So unless you want some hor d’euvres [under breath] not likely, you’re gonna have to wait until dinner!
Raven: Why don’t we just go out to a restaurant or something?
Kate: And would you care to enlighten me as to what kind of restaurant serves peanut butter and jelly as an entrée?
Raven: Fine, then, the grocery store.
Kate: Fine…let’s go to the grocery store. We have to tell Dad.
Raven: He’s in his office. He’ll yell at us if we distract him from his work…
Kate: Then let’s just go.
Raven: It’s not like he’ll notice anyway...[bitterly]
Kate: [shoots Raven a glance] I’ll leave a note. [gets a pen and starts writing on side of camera]
Lily: Why won’t Daddy notice us?
Raven: [sighs, then forces a smile] I only meant…..Look, just….don’t worry about it, Lil, I didn’t mean anything by it.
Lily: [frowns] okay….
Kate: [comes back] Grab your jackets, guys, and let’s go.
They leave the kitchen
