Koopa continued through the forest, heading toward Tina's place, her head filled with plesant images from the reunion. The foot steps behind her grew louder, making her ears twitch nervously, but she remained calm and thought about what to do as she trotted along the path. Finally coming up with an idea, she made a quick turn into the thick foliage. As expected, her follower soon found itself alone. At least for a few minutes. Koopa was able to sneak around and leap from a nearby bush, pinning the creature to the ground with one paw on it's chest, and another on it's neck.
Koopa looked down only to see a small monkey staring up at her, wide-eyed with fright.
After a quick look around, she smiled down at the terrified monkey and opened her jaws wide.
Just then, she heard those same footsteps and pratically froze in place. Looking down at the monkey, she whispered to herself "If it wasn't you...then who was...."
A familiar scent caught her nose, making her cuss under her breath, as she turned toward a nearby bush that seemed to be growling at her...
Back at Tina's house, Mikey and Tina were sitting in front of the main entrance, sipping at freshly made green tea.
"So...Why were you hiding around the house all this time? I do not believe I told you of my sister or her counter part."
"No...but you should've. I was hiding 'cause I sort of like living."
"And you say you did not hear them talking?"
"No." He said, calmly sipping at his tea.
"So how did you know you were in danger around them?"
"Well....at first it was because....I'm..kind of scared of demons."
"But...I am one as well..."
"Yeah, but you can tell that you're harmless."
"I see, so why did you stay hidden?"
"I can sort of...well...feel what other people around me are feeling. Like now, I can tell how worried you are. Not only for me, but for others as well. Like you're waiting for them to turn up."
"Yes...a beloved friend's daughters...they've been gone for quite awhile...I do hope they're ok...."
"Plus...I happen to catch what you're sister was feeling when she caught my scent in a corridor. I felt really hungry all of a sudden, and...this terrible feeling...like I wanted to...well..."
Tina took a small sip and set her tea down on the ground. "Kill something."
"....Yeah."
"So you are an empath?"
"Um...sure...yeah."
"I'm sorry, my sister has thing thing against humans...but I won't let any harm befall you."
"That's nice of yo-" in mid sentence, he stared out into the forest and slowly rose to his feet. "Um...Tina? I'm scared..."
"Of what?"
"I don't know, but who ever's running toward this house is scared out of there mind. I can sence it."
Koopa came stumbling out of the forest, running full speed toward the house carring the monkey under her arms. She screamed, pointing at Tina and Mikey "GET IN THE HOUSE!! NOW!!"
A large, black, musicular wolf like creature landed behind her with demonic wings spread to thier fullest. It had frightening yellow eyes, and a face too disguesting to stare at. Tina screamed at the top of her lungs and pushed Mikey into the house, with Koopa following close behind her, then slammed and locked the door. The wolfish-creature crashed right through the front door, searching for it's prey. He made his way down every hall, and peeked into every room, until he realised, that they snuck out of the house.
Out of pure anger, he let out a bone-chilling howl.
Meanwhile, at Koopa's house, Wolven was on the living room table, pawing at an ever-alert Whiplash, while Fluffy was asleep in the corner. Koopa, Tina, and Mikey were sitting next to each other on a couch, panting and trying to catch thier breath, and the primate was sprawled out on the floor in front of them, trembling with fear.
Looking over at Tina, Koopa pointed towards Mikey and said with a small chuckle, "So...hehe...who's this?"
