Koopa and Tina's argueing once again interupted the silence of an otherwise peaceful day. Topic of discussion? Koopa's Reunion.
"I'm not goin! Forge it!"
"Won't you have friends there?"
"I'll have more enemies than friends there! Like Red! The Den leader's brother, or...or Ranga...or..." She shutters as she spoke, "Noxtea or P.R.K."
"Then in the world did you go in the first place?!"
"I was invited!"
Sighing and rubbing her temples, the annoyed Tina "How did a cat like you become a member of a Lycan Den?"
"I knew two people there? And they wanted me to join?"
"...."
"..Fine. I'll go. But when I come back mauled and fallin apart, blame yourself."
Tina told her that she didn't have to go, and Koopa admitted she wanted to see her friends, but was unsure about attending. After thinking about it, Koopa left for the reunion a few moments later......and took a pack of sushi with her.
This left Tina alone with no one to talk to but Whiplash, Koopling (who's been quiet, enough to make her nervous), Wolven (who is currently sleeping her Tina's underwear drawer), Zapook, and her human guest. She made her way to a guest room upstairs, and knocked lightly.
"Mikey? Are you ok?"
Whiplash poked his head out from under the door, looked around, then looked up at Tina, giving her a small nod before he pulled himself into the room again. Mikey opened the door nervously and spoke in a soft voice.
"H-Hello?"
"I'm sorry, hun. I know to kept you in your room, but with my sister and her counterpart running around here..."
"One of them would've k-killed me?"
"...Yes. I'm terribly sorry...You must've heard one of them..."
"...Um...sure. We'll say that. Are they gone?"
"My sister left. And I can't find Zapook anywhere."
He sighs in relief and opens the door all the way, then sits next to Whiplash, who's coiled up at the foot of the bed. Tina sits next to him and pats him on the back. "How about some tea?"
Mikey smiled a little, and slowly nodded.
Elsewhere, in the thick forests North of Durem, Koopa nervously made her way through the somewhat familiar dirt paths. Then sun had just about set when she finally poked her head out of a group of trees and peered into a lit up cave. Walking in on all four, the memories flooded her head as she took in the many sents of the cavern. It was suprisingly huge inside, lit up with two bonfires, and had a stereo blasting from one corner of the room. A quick head count showed that only half the people she remembered showed up for the reunion. That's when she was tackled to the ground by a large animal. At first, Koopa was sent into panic, then she realized the animal was not canine at all, but a large tiger. A form belonging to the very person that first invited her. The two of them hugged, laughing like little children and talked as if they were long lost family.
The rest of her night was filled with dancing, jokes, and laughing. At least, until she left for home. Waving to her old friends, Koopa took off into the forests again, smiling. Infact, she was so caught up in tonights events, that she didn't realise another set of swift paws were following her.
