Everything used to be so black
I used to hurt so much inside
I wanted to run and never look back
Wanted to scream, wanted to hide

I put up wall after wall
And wouldnt let anyone in
But you came into my life and one by one my walls began to fall
Slowly I began to see light again

I began to know trust, and love once more
