Pure wings of an angel
Shrouded with white robes of priests
Do you do Gods work?
Is your heart hidden by your ribs,
Or did it vanish with your flesh?
Gutted, you stand bare before me
Third hand grasps delicate timeglass
Fourth missing but prominent in absence
Both obscene in their oddity
Do you hold time in your hands?
Or merely the fragments of what remains in frozen descent
Did you break the fabric to appear before us here?
Your scythe dwarfs you
Hand extended towards me
Dare I take it?
Whose crest is above your head?
Do they own you?
Can anyone own the end of all things?
Empty eyes and condescending grin
Why do you stare at me so?
Do you punish the assuming?
Invitingly you beckon
You know well to whom my soul belongs
Leave me be until then
