The Pigeon’s Roost
A fat pigeon roosts on a dog’s marble head
Surrounded by his fellows he swells
With import and pride at his prestigious spot
On the canines snout
He leans down to glare at the fierce countenance
His feet gripping precariously
The dog stares instead at me
His lips turned to a grin
Ear cocked in hello
And invites the joke at his expense
For what other purpose would a dog guard a fountain
Than to be a roost for precocious pigeons forever more

Just my way of venting. This will have ideas for my stories posted on Fanfiction.net and some other ideas I have. This will also be like a real journal and such.
