This winter break I am taking lots of classes. I take up at around seven thirty, and start classes at around eight thirty. I have a one hour lunch break in the middle, where I walk to a bakery or other place to buy lunch. I get home at around six now. It doesn't really feel like Christmas... XD And after Christmas, I still have classes. But at least I made some friends there. The interesting thing is that the sheriff's office is right underneath us. Sometimes I hear the loud pounding of a mallet.
Change of topic. I've been to the rural places on the east of where I live, on long car drives. You won't see anything, anything at all. There's just a flat expanse of plains, and once in a while you might see a herd of cows or horses. There's also sometimes a strong smell of cattle dung. There's tiny one-room houses scattered around, in certain areas. If you stand on a hill of sand you can practically see Los Angeles. My teacher teaches at a middle school there, and his students sound so clueless. He told us about his students, and I thought his conversation with a couple of them were really ridiculous.
Student: Wait... you have Asian students? [/ dumbfounded expression]
Him: Why, yes.
Student: How do you talk to them?
Him: With my vocal chords.
Student: How do they... understand you?
Him: They speak English.
Student: But... they're from China! [/ dumbfounded expression]
We all laughed. XD
And... I've reached the conclusion to this entry here. I'll probably head to bed soon. I'm so sleepy. emotion_drool
