I was only safe in my dreams!
Because only there you were with me....
Darling as cliche as this seems,
You and I, we were meant to be....
But, no, we can't be together.
And, so, I tried to sleep forever.



This looks like my past.
I was happy, but the feeling wouldn't last.
I had everything I could ever desire.
Little did I know my situation was dire.
Watch as my life takes a twist.
I lost everything and now I cease to exist.


What's this I see?
It can't be...
I see my own funeral right before my eyes.
Look at all those people....listen to their cries.
I guess they do care.
I'm really not alone out there....


Where am I now?
I hear people crying and screaming.
"For your sins you must redeem!"
I must be in purgatory.
Is this really the end of my story?


I woke up screaming,
With tears streaming.
Begging for my life.
"Please, I don't want to die!"
I am as foolish as all of mankind.
My eyes have been opened for I was truly blind.

My beautiful dreams have turned to horrific nightmares.
I know that I'll never get to hold you.
And, you'll never love me, of that I am aware.
I made a bad decision, but I'm no fool.
You have no clue of what is at stake.
I thank the Heavens for every day that I wake.
