Why did you go?

I just wanted to leave you one last work of my musical art.

We made a pact....
I can never love again, and that just comes to show....
I’m so lonely, and loneliness inspired this song.
The blade that tore us apart has now been sheathed.
Maybe someday you and God can sing along.
I’m running out of lines in my lyrical art...
I intend on honouring my end of the bargain, consider us even.
