What can you do when the one you love can never be yours? When you have lost that which made you truly happy? You can go searching for it but never find what you seek. You can only hope it finds you. But what happens when or if it does? Is it all just a game or a dream? Or is it truly the hand of God? Another pawn in the game of chest we call life? The only certainty is that what has been lost had shortly been found, only to be lost yet again. Maybe it is your fate to lose what makes you sane. Maybe it is your destiny to not be with the one who kept your heart balanced, the one whom you help keep balanced. Your first love is lost; gone forever. Cast to the shadows of your memories. You are the only one that knows this pain. You stand beside yourself trying to figure out what went wrong. The only that comes to your mind is fate. Could your fate be to reside with another? Could it truly be within anothers' hands? You freeze in thought about who you want to be. Your heart and soul yearn for the one who helped you live; but your body and mind desire the one who helped you free yourself. You are constantly reminded of the lost love everyday in even the smallest of ways, by everything you see and do. No matter what you do, you will never forget what you shared, and you never should. Never forget any experience you have. Even if it turns out bad, you must always remember. Memories set the path of destiny. Destiny allows fate to run its course. Both can always change by your experiences. Never forget that you, and only you, can live your life. You set your own fate. You control your own destiny, but only to an extent. Because; in this world, there are only two things that are certain. Life and Death. Your memories of the lost one may haunt you forever, but you will grow stronger from knowing that, even though you have lost your first and truest love, you can and will find another who will melt the ice that shields your heart and hold you close to theirs; you heart will be mended by the one you now choose to heal it. For when the heart breaks, it breaks knowing that that, one day, it will be restored. Live life without the fear of your heart. Open your mind, and one day, you will find exactly what you are looking for.
